Key takeaways were that Irish ICAVs trump Luxembourg structures as they can directly access double tax treaty benefits under the Ireland-US tax treaty and that the Central Bank will be updating the AIF Rulebook in the near future in particular to revise the rules for loan origination QIAIFs to correspond with AIFMD II – making Ireland the ideal location for private credit strategies.
