Since its inception, the bedrock of the firm has been its Commercial Litigation practice. In this regard the firm has acted in a wide variety of high profile disputes, including those in the areas of professional negligence, fraud, intellectual property, construction, judicial review, financial regulation and property disputes.
We have acted for a broad range of vendors and purchasers in the sale of their businesses. Clerkin Lynch LLP has significant experience in relation to the acquisition, disposal and leasing of commercial, residential, development lands and mixed use properties. We act for a number of developers in acquiring and selling larges tranches of property in industrial estates and retail parks and also deal with the banking aspects of these transactions.
We act in contentious and non-contentious construction matters on behalf of all parties in construction projects including employers, main contractors, sub-contractors and professional advisors such as Architects, Engineers and Designers. The firm has extensive experience acting in arbitrations, mediations and conciliations and High Court litigation proceedings arising from construction disputes.
